Aposentadoria pode permitir retorno de José Múcio à política
Com quase quarenta anos de vida pública, o presidente do Tribunal de Contas da União, José Múcio poderá oficializar a sua aposentadoria daquela Côrte ao término do seu mandato de presidente, conforme foi divulgado na mídia nacional.
Ele abdicaria de pouco menos de três anos no cargo de ministro para se dedicar à vida privada, porém pelo fato de ter sido cinco vezes deputado federal, ministro das Relações Institucionais e candidato a governador, José Múcio nunca foi esquecido para disputar cargos eletivos em Pernambuco.
Seu nome chegou a ser ventilado em 2010 para o Senado na chapa de reeleição de Eduardo Campos e em 2014 para o governo na sucessão do próprio Eduardo, fato que não se concretizou, mas somente a possibilidade de deixar o TCU antes do tempo cria a expectativa de que Múcio possa voltar a ser candidato em Pernambuco.
Em 2022 estarão em jogo duas vagas na majoritária, o cargo de governador, atualmente ocupado por Paulo Câmara, que não terá mais a possibilidade de ser candidato ao mesmo cargo, e a de senador, atualmente ocupada por Fernando Bezerra Coelho, que pode não ser candidato à reeleição dependendo da conjuntura eleitoral daqui a dois anos. Os dois cargos estariam à altura de José Múcio, que consolidou-se como um dos melhores quadros da política pernambucana e nacional.
Homenagem – Nesta terça-feira, às 18h, no plenário da Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco (Alepe) haverá reunião solene em homenagem ao Dia Internacional das Vítimas do Holocausto e abertura da exposição “Alguns Eram Vizinhos”, que ficará em cartaz na Sinagoga Kahal Zur Israel até o final de março. A cerimônia será comandada pelo presidente da Alepe, Eriberto Medeiros e pela deputada Priscila Krause.
Arquivo – Apesar da repercussão na mídia, o pedido de impeachment do ministro da Educação, Abraham Weintraub, não deve ter resultados jurídicos. O rito de impeachment dos ministros de Estado é diferente do rito do presidente da República. É judicial e a iniciativa é privativa do procurador geral da República. Em outubro do ano passado, o STF arquivou pedido de impeachment do ministro do Meio Ambiente, Ricardo Salles, alegando que parlamentares não tinham legitimidade.
