A pedido dos deputados Daniel Coelho e Luciano Siqueira, as comissões de Cidadania e Meio Ambiente da Alepe realizam audiência pública sobre a PPP do saneamento da Compesa, amanhã, 13. O encontro acontece no auditório da Casa, a partir das 9h.
O secretário de Recursos Hídricos e Energéticos do Estado, José Almir Cirilo, já confirmou presença, bem como o presidente da Compesa, Roberto Tavares. Representantes do Sindicato dos Urbanitários – que questionam a proposta em andamento – também estarão no debate.
Para o deputado Daniel Coelho, é muito importante que os deputados e a sociedade procurem se informar sobre a PPP que vem sendo articulada. “Se for bom para o Estado, mesmo sendo contrário à privatização de serviços básicos, voto a favor”, afirma Daniel. “Mas fico preocupado que seja privatizado apenas o serviço altamente rentável e a população venha a ter aumento nas taxas de esgoto, como aconteceu com a Celpe. Isso não posso apoiar”.
