Declaração de Raul Henry sobre disputar prefeitura divide opiniões
Após muita especulação nos bastidores sobre uma eventual pré-candidatura do deputado federal Raul Henry, o emedebista fez pela primeira vez um aceno positivo e mais incisivo quanto à possibilidade de ser novamente candidato a prefeito do Recife nas eleições deste ano.
Apesar da declaração do parlamentar ao programa Cidade em Foco do radialista Alberes Xavier, a eventual pré-candidatura de Henry divide opiniões. Alguns governistas rechaçam a possibilidade, afirmando que a palavra final quanto ao destino do MDB em 2020 cabe ao senador Jarbas Vasconcelos e este já teria sinalizado apoio à postulação de João Campos.
Outros, mais ligados ao MDB, contestam a aliança com o PSB afirmando que Jarbas acatará a decisão de Raul Henry, que se for candidato a prefeito do Recife terá seu apoio irrestrito, pois é seu correligionário e configura-se no seu mais proeminente herdeiro político.
O fato é que o destino do MDB em outubro poderá ser determinante para o desfecho da eleição deste ano, se ficar com o PSB desencoraja outros partidos a romperem com a Frente Popular contribuindo para a manutenção da hegemonia do PSB na capital pernambucana, enquanto um rompimento para lançar uma candidatura própria pode ter um efeito manada muito grande devido o simbolismo da saída de Jarbas Vasconcelos da aliança liderada pelo PSB, tendo papel determinante para um eventual insucesso de João Campos em outubro.
Independente do desfecho desta história, a declaração de Raul Henry causou polêmica no meio político e a depender dos próximos passos, teremos desdobramentos que afetarão diretamente o cenário das eleições de 2020 e pode ter consequências para 2022.
Totonho Valadares – Ex-prefeito de Afogados da Ingazeira durante três ocasiões, Totonho Valadares filiou-se ao MDB para disputar novamente a prefeitura este ano. Ele tem grandes chances de voltar a comandar a cidade.
Limoeiro – Apoiado pelo deputado federal Ricardo Teobaldo, o pré-candidato a prefeito de Limoeiro, Orlando Jorge (PSD), tem grandes chances de lograr êxito na disputa de outubro, uma vez que o cenário de 2016 pode se repetir este ano, quando o então prefeito Thiago Cavalcanti tentou a reeleição e acabou derrotado.
Thiago Nunes – Em Agrestina, o prefeito Thiago Nunes (MDB) chega bastante fortalecido para fazer o sucessor em outubro. O gestor possui boa avaliação e anunciou apoio ao ex-prefeito Josué Mendes. A dupla pretende derrotar a ex-prefeita Carmem Miriam, que anda bastante fragilizada.
Destaque – No primeiro ano como deputado estadual, Romero Sales Filho (PTB) conseguiu se destacar na Alepe. O parlamentar apresentou 60 projetos de lei e teve 10 leis promulgadas. Além disso, fez uma oposição bastante qualificada ao governador Paulo Câmara, sendo contundente mas nunca desrespeitoso.
Oposição unida – Lideranças políticas de oposição à gestão do prefeito de Igarassu, Mário Ricardo (PTB), reuniram-se na última semana de dezembro para costurar uma aliança em torno das eleições municipais deste ano. Sob a liderança do deputado Guilherme Uchoa Júnior, o grupo reúne nomes expressivos da política local. Dentre eles, Yves Ribeiro, Ademar de Barros, Severino Ninho, Maria dos Prazeres, Joca da Facig e Bob Esponja. A ideia é chegar a um consenso com relação a quem reúne mais condições de derrotar o candidato do petebista até o final de fevereiro.
RÁPIDAS
