O prefeito do Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Lula Cabral, foi homenageado pelo Conselho de Pastores do município na noite dessa segunda-feira (27/08). Na ocasião, ele recebeu o título de Prefeito Amigo dos Evangélicos, devido às políticas públicas implantadas e aos serviços prestados ao segmento religioso durante as suas duas gestões.
“Prestamos esta homenagem ao prefeito por sua demonstração de amor e carinho ao povo evangélico nesses quase oito anos de gestão”, destacou o presidente do Conselho de Pastores do Cabo, pastor Rômulo Henrique Bezerra. “Seu governo sempre nos apoiou em diversas atividades, como no Dia de Ação de Graças e Marcha Resgate, e também sempre chama pastores para realizarem cultos no aniversário da cidade e em outras datas marcantes para o município”, completou ele.
No final, Lula Cabral agradeceu a homenagem e disse que se sentia muito feliz e honrado em receber o prêmio de Prefeito Amigo dos Evangélicos. Ele lembrou que foi na sua gestão que o município criou o Dia Municipal de Ação de Graças e que nunca deixará de dar apoio a este segmento.
