O candidato a prefeito de Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Heraldo Selva (PSB), assumiu o compromisso de pavimentar as ruas 7 de Setembro, Conde da Boa Vista e Maracanã, importantes vias nas comunidades de Jardim Prazeres, Sotave e Lagoa das Garças. A promessa foi celebrada em uma grande caminhada na noite desta sexta-feira (19), pelas três localidades. A população abraçou a campanha de Heraldo, demonstrando apoio ao projeto liderado pelo socialista para fazer Jaboatão avançar mais.
“Estamos aqui assumindo o compromisso de fazer a pavimentação das ruas 7 de Setembro e Conde da Boa Vista. Vamos emendar com a Rua Maracanã e chegar em Jardim Prazeres. É escutando o povo que mora na Sotave, na Lagoa das Garças e em Jardim Prazeres que a gente vai fazer mais, que a gente vai acertar mais”, assinalou Heraldo Selva.
Durante a caminhada, Heraldo enumerou as realizações feitas pelas gestões Elias Gomes (PSDB), nas três comunidades. O candidato a prefeito destacou que o governo construiu uma UPA municipal, pavimentou 32 ruas na região, por meio do programa “Comunidade que Faz”, edificou e recuperou escolas, fez um Cemei e já licitou o projeto para levantar uma quadra poliesportiva, em benefício da população.
“Conheço trabalho de Elias muito bem; ele está deixando a Prefeitura em boas mãos com Heraldo. Sem sombra de dúvida estamos com Heraldo. A educação de Jaboatão mudou bastante. O sistema de saúde também. Agora, temos uma UPA e não precisamos nos deslocar para longe para receber atendimento. Temos o programa ‘Comunidade que Faz’. Heraldo está no caminho certo”, disse a dona de casa Kátia Brasiliano da Silva.
Morando há 20 anos em Sotave, o pedreiro Nelson de Souza Coutinho é prova viva dos avanços ocorridos nas comunidades com os governos Elias Gomes. “Antigamente era muita lama, mas depois de Elias o canal melhorou. Acredito que com Heraldo as coisas vão continuar melhorando”, asseverou.
