Implantar um novo modelo de gestão para o Programa Saúde da Família (PSF). Este foi o compromisso assumido por Geraldo Julio (PSB) durante uma reunião com representantes de quatro entidades ligadas à área médica na manhã de hoje (12). O encontro foi realizado na sede do Conselho Regional de Medicina de Pernambuco (Cremepe), no bairro do Espinheiro.
O futuro prefeito se comprometeu a ampliar a estrutura física dos PSFs, garantindo um melhor atendimento para a população recifense. Os investimentos também terão como foco a valorização dos profissionais que trabalham nas unidades. “Faremos um governo ouvindo as entidades médicas. Vamos dialogar para termos objetivos comuns e não concorrentes”, pontuou Geraldo.
Outra meta de Geraldo é promover uma maior integração entre as Secretarias de Saúde municipal e estadual. “É preciso ter clareza sobre o papel de cada peça dentro do sistema”, destacou o socialista. O futuro prefeito foi ao Cremepe acompanhado de dois médicos: o vice, Luciano Siqueira (PCdoB) e a esposa, Cristina Mello.
Representantes do Sindicato dos Médicos de Pernambuco (Simepe), da Associação Médica de Pernambuco (Ampe) e da Academia Pernambucana de Medicina também foram ouvir o que Geraldo tinha a dizer. De acordo com a presidente do Cremepe, Helena Cordeiro, 21 mil médicos exercem a profissão em Pernambuco, sendo cerca de 10 mil somente no Recife.
CLUBE DO BOLINHA – Após a reunião, Geraldo seguiu para almoço promovido pelo Clube do Bolinha, entidade que representa corretores de seguros e seguradoras. A presidente e o tesoureiro da entidade, Geórgia de Paula e Aldecir Medeiros, respectivamente, declararam voto em Geraldo. “Quero o melhor para o Recife. E o melhor é Geraldo”, justificou Geórgia.
