Prefeitura de Araripina avança em obras na Educação Municipal

A Prefeitura de Araripina, no sertão do Araripe, iniciou 2023 com dezenas de obras de construção, reforma e ampliação de escolas e creches por todo o município. Dois novos Centros de Educação Infantil (CEI) estão sendo construídos: na Vila Santa Maria e Serra da Torre. Os CEI terão salas de aula, pátio coberto, espaço para recreação com parquinho, banheiros com acessibilidade, para atender crianças de 2 a 5 anos, do Maternal ao Infantil II. Tudo sob o comando de uma equipe de profissionais competente e qualificada.

Também na Serra da Torre, a Prefeitura está reformando e ampliando a Escola Nucleada José Batista Modesto, e construindo mais duas escolas: no distrito de Rancharia e no povoado da Feira Nova. Já nesta próxima semana, será iniciada a construção da Escola Nucleada no distrito de Vila Serrânia. No distrito de Gergelim, as obras da nova Quadra Poliesportiva começaram e, ao lado, uma grande Escola Nucleada será erguida. A Prefeitura também está reformando e ampliando a Escola Guiomar Costa Reis, no centro.

“Só nesse pacote de obras na educação estamos investindo R$ 13 milhões, onde 95% desse valor é recurso do município. Isso é fruto de muito trabalho e dedicação de uma equipe que ajustou as contas e tirou Araripina do fundo do poço. Se antes o município mal tinha dinheiro para pagar a folha salarial, hoje, além de pagar as obrigações, tem recursos em conta para fazer os investimentos que a cidade precisa. No nosso governo é assim: investindo pesado em educação para garantir um futuro melhor para todos”, concluiu o prefeito Raimundo Pimentel.
