Eduardo Campos: Dez anos de sua partida e um legado que inspira Pernambuco

Neste mês, Pernambuco celebra o início das comemorações dos 60 anos de nascimento de Eduardo Campos, que se completam em 2025. Em uma data simbólica, que marca os dez anos de sua morte, o Partido Socialista Brasileiro (PSB) promoveu no Recife um evento que reuniu líderes políticos para homenagear a memória e a trajetória daquele que foi, e ainda é, uma das figuras mais influentes do estado.

Eduardo Campos, que completaria 59 anos, foi lembrado como um político que, mesmo com uma vida curta, deixou uma marca profunda na história de Pernambuco e do Brasil. O prefeito do Recife, João Campos, destacou a intensidade com que o pai viveu e a coerência de suas ações, tanto na política quanto na gestão pública. “Ele era um político coerente, que tinha lado, posição e coragem”, afirmou. Essa coragem foi demonstrada em sua capacidade de implementar mudanças significativas, como o ensino integral, que transformou a educação no estado e serviu de modelo para outras regiões do país.

O legado de Eduardo vai além das fronteiras de Pernambuco. O governador da Paraíba, João Azevêdo, lembrou como sua influência se estendeu a projetos como a Estação Ciência, Cultura e Artes, em João Pessoa, e às escolas cidadãs integrais na Paraíba, ambas inspiradas e incentivadas por ele. Essa capacidade de transformar ideias em realidade e de unir pessoas em torno de um objetivo comum foi um dos traços mais marcantes de sua liderança.

A proposta de criação do Prêmio Governador Eduardo Campos de Excelência em Gestão Pública, anunciada por seu filho Pedro Campos, é um esforço para perpetuar o trabalho e a visão de Eduardo, garantindo que sua memória continue a inspirar novas gerações de gestores e políticos comprometidos com o bem comum.

Eduardo Campos vive na memória coletiva e em cada projeto que ele sonhou e concretizou. Dez anos após sua partida, seu legado permanece forte e relevante, guiando Pernambuco rumo ao futuro.

Claudiano Filho – Após participar de várias convenções no interior de Pernambuco, o deputado estadual Claudiano Filho reforçou suas bases eleitorais e se mantém firme na disputa para a reeleição em 2026, mirando seu quinto mandato consecutivo. Atualmente, Claudiano apoia 22 pré-candidatos(as) a prefeito(a), e espera consolidar a vitória de pelo menos metade deles, ampliando assim sua força política no estado. O parlamentar, que obteve 53 mil votos em 2022, projeta ultrapassar os 60 mil na próxima eleição, fortalecendo ainda mais sua trajetória política.

OAB – O Instituto Teorema, com mais de 16 anos de experiência em pesquisas de opinião, realizou uma sondagem entre advogados pernambucanos de 7 a 9 de agosto para avaliar o cenário eleitoral e a imagem dos candidatos à presidência da OAB-PE. Se as eleições fossem hoje, a pré-candidata Ingrid Zanella, apoiada pelo atual presidente Fernando Ribeiro e pelo ex-presidente Bruno Baptista, seria eleita com 45,4% das intenções de voto, uma diferença histórica em relação ao opositor Almir Reis, que obteve 29,1% na pesquisa. Intenções de votos brancos e nulos somam 7,1%, enquanto 18,4% não souberam responder.

Josafá fortalecido – Pesquisa DataTrends divulgada nesta segunda-feira trouxe o prefeito de São Caitano, Josafá Almeida (União Brasil), com 89% dos votos válidos. Ele possui uma das melhores intenções de voto no estado e poderá sair das urnas com uma votação consagradora.

Joias – O ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro, durante visita a Pernambuco, afirmou que irá leiloar as joias e doar à Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Juiz de Fora, local onde ele foi atendido após o atentado contra sua vida em 2018 praticado por Adélio Bispo.
