Durante quase três horas, a população de Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, no agreste do estado, acompanhou a grande caminhada da candidata à vice-governadora de Pernambuco, Alessandra Vieira, e do seu marido e candidato a deputado estadual, Edson Vieira. Realizada na tarde deste domingo (04/09), a movimentação contou com a presença do senador Fernando Bezerra Coelho e do candidato ao senado pelo União Brasil, Carlos Andrade Lima.O trajeto saiu da Avenida Souza Aragão, passou pelas Avenidas José Francisco de Queiroz, Luiza Mendes, 22 de Abril, Cesário Aragão, Teonilo Silvestre e América do Sul, retornando ao ponto inicial da caminhada. Aos santacruzenses, a companheira de chapa do ex-prefeito de Petrolina, Miguel Coelho, lembrou da sua história e das suas lutas em prol dos menos favorecidos da cidade, quando atuou na Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Social do município pelo período de sete anos. Alessandra ainda reforçou que “a filha da costureira, a filha da viúva, a primeira mulher de Santa Cruz eleita deputada estadual, também será a primeira filha da cidade a se tornar vice-governadora de Pernambuco”.Antes de percorrer dezenas de ruas de Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, os postulantes realizaram um comício na frente do, então inaugurado, Comitê do candidato Edson Vieira. “Hoje não estamos aqui para pedir nada ao povo de Santa Cruz.
