Mano Medeiros assina ofício para armamento da guarda municipal, entrega nova sede da Secretaria Executiva de Segurança Cidadã e insígnias a 42 Guardas Civis

Um marco para a segurança pública municipal do Jaboatão dos Guararapes. Nesta terça (22), três importantes conquistas para o cidadão jaboatonense: primeiro, a inauguração da sede do comando da Guarda Civil e da Secretaria Executiva de Segurança Cidadã; a entrega de insígnias aos 42 Guardas Civis Municipais promovidos à sub-inspetores; assinatura do ofício de abertura do processo de armamento da Guarda Civil Municipal à Polícia Federal. O prefeito Mano Medeiros comandou o ato acompanhado da vice-prefeita, Irmã Babate, e da primeira-dama Andrea Medeiros, no Palácio da Batalha.

Mano Medeiros defendeu seu posicionamento para armar a Guarda Municipal, lembrando que vai oficializar seu projeto junto à Polícia Federal ainda nesta tarde e depois apresentar Projetos de Lei à Câmara dos Vereadores.

“Quando eu falo hoje aqui que estarei levando à Polícia Federal o ofício solicitando o armamento da Guarda, é o primeiro passo. Isso aqui é uma causa coletiva, na verdade, é o fortalecimento da Guarda, é o fortalecimento da segurança do nosso município e eu conto com os senhores na aprovação, assim que esse projeto chegar na Câmara dos Vereadores”, disse o prefeito.

Coube ao prefeito fazer o descerramento da placa da nova sede da Secretaria Executiva de Segurança Cidadã, na presença do comandante da Guarda Municipal, Sávio Sá, e do secretário de Segurança Cidadã, Coronel Fred Saraiva.

“O importante é dizer que é um momento simbólico. A gente está aqui hoje entregando logo a sede da Secretaria, do Comando da Guarda, assinando essa solicitação à Polícia Federal para armamento da nossa Guarda”, ressaltou o prefeito.

Também estiveram presentes integrantes do secretariado municipal e vereadores, além de representantes da guarda municipal do Jaboatão dos Guararapes.

    I do not know whether it’s just me or if everyone else encountering
    issues with your website. It appears like some of the text in your content are running off the screen. Can someone else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them too?
