O deputado estadual Joãozinho Tenório comemorou o resultado histórico alcançado pelo Governo de Pernambuco, que encerrou o mês de outubro com o menor número de homicídios dos últimos 22 anos. Foram 225 Mortes Violentas Intencionais (MVI) registradas, número que reforça o avanço das políticas públicas de segurança implantadas pela gestão da governadora Raquel Lyra.
O parlamentar destacou que o resultado é fruto da seriedade e do compromisso do governo com a proteção da vida e o fortalecimento das forças de segurança.
“A governadora Raquel Lyra tem mostrado que governar é cuidar das pessoas. Esse resultado é uma conquista de toda a sociedade pernambucana e prova que o trabalho integrado das nossas polícias e das equipes de segurança está fazendo a diferença. É um novo tempo de confiança e esperança para Pernambuco”, afirmou Joãozinho Tenório.
Ele também ressaltou o empenho das forças operativas do Estado, como a Polícia Militar, a Polícia Civil e demais instituições envolvidas.
“É importante reconhecer o esforço de cada profissional que, com dedicação e coragem, ajuda a tornar nosso Estado mais seguro. A redução dos homicídios é uma vitória de todos que acreditam na gestão e no compromisso da governadora Raquel Lyra com a vida e com o futuro de Pernambuco”, completou o deputado.
O Governo de Pernambuco tem investido em ações estratégicas por meio do Programa Juntos pela Segurança, que prevê ampliação do efetivo policial, modernização de equipamentos e fortalecimento da inteligência policial — medidas que têm refletido diretamente na queda dos índices de violência em todo o Estado.
