João Campos faz a maior convenção da história do Recife

Neste domingo (4), o Recife foi tomado de amarelo com a convenção partidária que oficializou o nome do prefeito João Campos (PSB) como candidato à reeleição da Prefeitura do Recife. O ato teve início às 8h, com a participação do futuro candidato à vice, Victor Marques (PCdoB), e outras lideranças dos partidos que compõem a coligação.

São doze partidos que integram a coligação majoritária da Frente Popular do Recife. Além do próprio PSB, fazem parte também o PT, PCdoB, União Brasil, Partido Verde, Republicanos, MDB, Solidariedade, Avante, Democracia Cristã, Agir e PMB. O bloco partidário formado é o maior entre todas as candidaturas a prefeito da capital, terá o maior tempo do propaganda eleitoral no Rádio e na TV.

Além da oficialização da chapa majoritária, com João Campos e Victor Marques, a convenção também apresentou a maior chapa de a vereador e vereadora para a eleição do dia 6 de outubro, com mais 260 postulantes ao cargo. “A gente precisa cada vez mais entrar no tempo da política do fazer. Da política positiva. Da política que tem a capacidade de ouvir e de sentir as pessoas. Mas, sobretudo, não adianta ter conversa bonita se não tem a capacidade de botar para moer e transformar a vida das pessoas. Não adianta só ter ideias se não tem a capacidade de montar um time como o time que está aqui hoje”, enfatizou o prefeito João Campos

“Na minha vida, eu quase nunca vou escolher o caminho mais fácil, mas eu vou sempre escolher o caminho que eu acredito e o caminho que eu acho que é certo e o caminho que eu acho que dá para fazer a diferença. Aqui, esta frente montada, reunindo a maior frente da cidade do Recife, mostrando o que eu, de fato, acredito para a política. Com as bênçãos, e aqui a nossa gratidão ao presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva pela condução política na formatura desse processo.”

O candidato a vice-prefeito, Victor Marques, elencou avanços nestes quase quatro anos de gestão. “A gente escolheu o caminho da luta, colocando a força e a energia da juventude e isso ninguém tira de nós. Então, João, meu irmão, eu podia passar aqui uma hora falando que você dobrou o número de creches e que você fez mais de 4 mil obras de encosta, eu podia falar que você fez praça, parque, eu passaria o dia inteiro aqui. E sabe por que eu passaria o dia inteiro aqui? Porque ninguém me contou, não, eu estava lá todos os dias na Prefeitura. Eu estava lá, João. Eu tive o prazer de ser seu chefe de gabinete nos últimos três anos e meio.”

O vice-presidente do Brasil, Geraldo Alckmin, ressaltou a gestão de João Campos e a formação da Frente Popular. “João mostra a capacidade de diálogo, a capacidade de união para servir melhor a nossa população. É importante ganhar a eleição, mas é mais importante fazer um bom governo. E o João fez um belíssimo trabalho”, afirmou.

“João é um bom prefeito e uma administração que tem o que mostrar. Mas temos que ir para a rua, trazer votos. A gente precisa que esta eleição tenha um saldo político fundamental para as forças que, desde a redemocratização, com um pequeno hiato, governam essa cidade. Recife é uma cidade irredenta, Recife é uma cidade revolucionária”, Teresa Leitão, senadora pelo PT.

“Quero saudar João Campos e nosso vice-prefeito, Victor Marques, e dizer que estamos felizes de estar aqui para respaldar, para homologar a sua candidatura à reeleição para a Prefeitura do Recife. Estamos aqui, nós, da militância do PT, que fazemos este partido, para trazer também o apoio do presidente Lula para uma questão de justiça. Porque você é, sem dúvida, o grande gestor que essa cidade tem”, Humberto Costa, senador pelo PT.

“Um jovem sério, preparado, correto, que tem espírito público, capacidade de trabalho. João Campos não é apenas mais o filho da esperança, é a esperança que os recifenses já depositam em João. E eu não tenho dúvida, João, aonde o ex-governador Eduardo Campos estiver, ele está muito orgulhoso de você, porque você é um guerreiro, você é um batalhador, e eu não tenho dúvida de que o Recife, Pernambuco e o Brasil ainda vai ouvir falar muito de João. Sem dúvida alguma, o melhor prefeito da história”, asseverou o ministro dos Portos e Aeroportos e deputado federal licenciado, Silvio Costa Filho.

“A Frente Popular do Recife carrega um grande legado, uma grande herança. É a Frente Popular de Arraes, de Pelópidas da Silveira. E essa Frente Popular, mais uma vez, João, que você fez jus a esse legado. Aliás, você superou todas as expectativas. Você é um prefeito arretado, um prefeito que cuida das pessoas, da infância aos idosos, da infraestrutura da cidade, da saúde”, destacou a presidente nacional do PCdoB e ministra de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação, Luciana Santos.

“Na política a gente tem que ter lado. É por isso que estamos com o melhor prefeito do Brasil. João Campos terá uma vitória histórica e pode contar com nosso apoio e de todo o nosso grupo”, disse o presidente da Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco, Álvaro Porto.

“Quem conhece João sabe a sua capacidade de cuidar. O cuidado que João teve com as pessoas que mais precisam do Recife. E tinha também o cuidado desse time, desse conjunto político, que esteve sempre ao lado de João para que ele fizesse essa grande gestão. São esses sentimentos que eu tenho certeza que nos guiarão nos próximos quatro anos. Para continuar as transformações da cidade do Recife. A gente já sabia que João era muito bom. Eu sempre soube que João era muito bom. Mas na gestão da prefeitura que ele é craque”, disse o deputado federal, Pedro Campos.

“Para nós do MDB de Pernambuco, é uma honra estar aqui nessa convenção, porque o nosso lugar sempre foi aqui. Ao lado desse jovem que há quatro anos atrás era apenas uma aposta, era apenas uma expectativa, e, hoje, demonstra uma grande capacidade de liderança, uma grande capacidade de trabalhar com o povo do Recife”, afirmou o presidente do MDB em Pernambuco, Raul Henry.

“Aqui nesse palanque tem esquerda, tem centro, tem cristãos, católicos, evangélicos, de todas as denominações, tem de todas as religiões, tem preto, tem branco, homem, mulher, tem diversidade”, disse a presidente estadual e vice-presidente nacional do Solidariedade, Marília Arraes. “Dentro desses sonhos, que são os mesmos de Arraes, os mesmos de Brizola, os mesmos de Eduardo Campos, os mesmos sonhos do presidente Lula, que nós estamos juntos nesse caminho, nesse caminho com uma forma diferente de caminhar”, completou.

“A gente começa mais uma caminhada que tem a importância da fundação dessa unidade. Todo mundo junto, o conjunto de partidos políticos. Nós precisamos aqui agradecer por estar aqui nesse momento. Por tudo que você construiu, João, por tudo que você mudou na vida das pessoas: a educação, saúde, morros, praças, ruas… Essa formação mostra que você honrou o compromisso com o povo do Recife”, enfatizou o o superintendente da Sudene, Danilo Cabral.

“Estou aqui hoje em nome do nosso partido, o União Brasil. O nosso partido acredita que não existe pessoa mais preparada para continuar cuidando do povo do Recife. Recife reconhece o seu trabalho, João. A nossa capital está mudando e vai mudar muito mais. Você é uma revelação. Não só pelo nome que carrega, mas pelo talento, habilidade, pela competência, que já demonstrou na liderança da nossa capital”, frisou o ex-prefeito de Petrolina, Miguel Coelho.

Também presente à convenção no Clube Português, o ex-prefeito do Recife, Geraldo Julio, destacou o trabalho da frente popular. “A Frente Popular de Miguel Arraes, de Pelópidas, de Ariano, de Eduardo Campos. E agora, a Frente Popular de João Campos. Para transformar para melhor a vida das pessoas, João. E quando a gente transforma para melhor a vida das pessoas,a gente está inaugurando vida na vida das pessoas. E é isso que a gente gosta de fazer”.
