Em Brasília, representantes do CRO-PE recebem apoio da senadora Teresa Leitão em demandas da odontologia

Representantes do Conselho Regional de Odontologia de Pernambuco (CRO-PE), liderados pelo presidente Eduardo Vasconcelos, estiveram reunidos, nessa quarta-feira (13), em Brasília, com a senadora Teresa Leitão para discutir temas fundamentais para o fortalecimento da odontologia no Brasil, especialmente no que se refere à valorização dos profissionais da área.

Na reunião, foi discutido o financiamento do piso salarial dos profissionais de odontologia, um tema relevante para a categoria e que demanda articulação legislativa para garantir direitos trabalhistas. Outro tema abordado foi o projeto de lei do exame de proficiência, proposto para garantir segurança e saúde no atendimento à população. Os representantes do CRO-PE enfatizaram a necessidade desse exame para elevar o padrão de atendimento.

Eles também destacaram a tramitação judicial sobre o piso salarial, buscando apoio para acelerar o processo e garantir condições justas aos profissionais. A senadora Teresa Leitão ouviu as demandas e manifestou apoio, ressaltando a importância da odontologia na saúde pública.

“A senadora Teresa Leitão demonstrou receptividade e se comprometeu a acompanhar as demandas em tramitação, reforçando seu compromisso com o fortalecimento da categoria e com a saúde bucal da população”, detalhou Vasconcelos, que esteve acompanhado do tesoureiro Adelmo Aragão e da coordenadora do Serviço de Odontologia do IMIP, Fabiana Motta.
