A abertura do Carnaval do Jaboatão dos Guararapes será nesta sexta-feira (28). A largada para a folia será na ladeira de Santo Amaro, às 17h, com a concentração do bloco Folia JA, promovido pela Prefeitura, que desfila pela primeira vez este ano. São esperadas mais de mil pessoas.
O prefeito Mano Medeiros convida toda a população para participar. “O Carnaval do Jaboatão dos Guararapes é para toda a família. Queremos resgatar a tradição da brincadeira nas ruas, com animação, alegria, com todos se divertindo. Esperamos por vocês”, declarou.
“Quem não conseguiu trocar os alimentos pelas camisas, poderá vestir a sua fantasia e participar desta festa com a gente. O Carnaval do Jaboatão é para o povo, ele é feito com a participação de todos”, reforçou a primeira-dama Andrea Medeiros. Todos os alimentos serão somados aos arrecadados com a realização do Baile Municipal Popular para doação às instituições assistidas pelo Programa Amor por Jaboatão, coordenado pela primeira-dama.
Após o cortejo, que também reunirá os blocos Baronesa e Zé Pereira, a festa seguirá no palco Jaboatão Centro, montado no estacionamento da Casa da Cultura. Os shows começam às 19h, com as apresentações da Orquestra 90 Graus e convidados, Dayse Santana e Michele Andrade.
