Em Caruaru, deputado Joãozinho Tenório participa do lançamento do programa Terra Plantar com a governadora Raquel Lyra

O deputado estadual Joãozinho Tenório (PRD) esteve, nesta quinta-feira (10), em Caruaru, ao lado da governadora Raquel Lyra, participando do lançamento do Programa Terra Plantar, uma iniciativa do Governo do Estado que irá investir mais de R$ 200 milhões em ações voltadas ao fortalecimento da agricultura familiar em Pernambuco.

O programa contempla a entrega de máquinas agrícolas, perfuração de poços, construção de barragens, melhoria de estradas vicinais, distribuição de sementes e reforço ao Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos (PAA), que agora contará também com uma nova modalidade voltada aos povos indígenas. A ação será coordenada pelo Instituto Agronômico de Pernambuco (IPA).

Durante o evento, o parlamentar destacou a importância dos investimentos anunciados para o desenvolvimento das zonas rurais. “São ações como essas que vêm melhorar a vida dos pernambucanos”, afirmou Joãozinho Tenório.

O Terra Plantar irá beneficiar mais de 200 mil famílias em todas as regiões do Estado, promovendo segurança alimentar, geração de renda e valorização do pequeno produtor rural. Entre as entregas previstas estão 625 equipamentos agrícolas (como tratores, ensiladeiras e motocultivadores), além da ampliação da distribuição de sementes de feijão, milho e sorgo.

Também está prevista a construção de 15 barragens de pequeno porte, 500 aguadas e 150 barragens subterrâneas, além da perfuração e instalação de poços artesianos em municípios do Sertão, Agreste e Zona da Mata.

Para Joãozinho Tenório, o programa marca um novo momento para a agricultura em Pernambuco. “Essa é uma iniciativa que chega para transformar a realidade de milhares de famílias que vivem no campo. O fortalecimento da agricultura familiar é fundamental para o desenvolvimento dos nossos municípios e para garantir alimento na mesa da população”, afirmou.

Além do Terra Plantar, o parlamentar também reforçou seu compromisso como defensor da recuperação das estradas em Pernambuco, mencionando avanços concretos que já beneficiam a população. “Não poderia deixar de parabenizar a governadora Raquel Lyra pelas obras de recuperação da PE-112, PE-109, PE-103, PE-85 e tantas outras. São investimentos que trazem mais segurança, mobilidade e desenvolvimento para quem vive no Agreste e em outras regiões do Estado”, finalizou.
