Rodovia PE-089 será contemplada com ações do PE na Estrada

O Governo de Pernambuco lançou, na quarta-feira (14/05), o edital de licitação para contratação de empresa de engenharia especializada, responsável pela execução das obras e serviços remanescentes de restauração da PE-089, no trecho com 5,28 quilômetros de extensão, que vai do entroncamento com a PE-074, no km 24,15, no distrito de Siriji, até o km 29,43, em São Vicente Férrer, no Agreste do Estado.

O valor estimado das obras na PE-089 é de R$ 22,1 milhões, com prazo de execução de 240 dias a partir da emissão da Ordem de Serviço. Quando concluída, a obra beneficiará diretamente mais de 17 mil moradores de São Vicente Férrer. As intervenções fazem parte do PE na Estrada, o maior programa de infraestrutura rodoviária da história de Pernambuco, com investimento total de R$ 5,1 bilhões.

A iniciativa visa melhorar as condições de trafegabilidade, oferecendo mais segurança e conforto, além de reduzir o tempo de viagem. O objetivo é minimizar os custos operacionais e de transporte, aumentar a eficiência logística das cadeias produtivas e distributivas, fortalecer a economia do estado e reduzir o número de sinistros de trânsito.

“A PE-089 é uma das principais rodovias da Mata Norte, com 57,23 km de extensão, interligando os municípios de Limoeiro, Bom Jardim, Machados, São Vicente Férrer, Macaparana e Timbaúba. A rodovia é de extrema importância para o desenvolvimento socioeconômico da região, sendo muito utilizada para o escoamento da produção agrícola, especialmente de banana e cana-de-açúcar”, afirmou o secretário de Mobilidade e Infraestrutura, Diogo Bezerra.

“A restauração da PE-089 representa um avanço importante dentro do programa PE na Estrada. Essa é uma via estratégica para a Mata Norte, fundamental para o escoamento da produção agrícola e para a mobilidade de milhares de pernambucanos. Com esse investimento de mais de R$ 22 milhões, vamos garantir melhores condições de trafegabilidade, mais segurança e eficiência logística para a região. Nosso compromisso é com uma infraestrutura rodoviária que impulsione o desenvolvimento econômico e melhore a qualidade de vida da população”, destacou o diretor-presidente do DER-PE, Rivaldo Melo.
