Mirella é a quarta mais bem votada do Brasil entre as prefeitas eleitas

Mirella Almeida (PSD) será a prefeita mais jovem da história de Olinda, equilibrando uma visão inovadora na gestão pública, energia e muita capacidade de liderança. Em entrevista, publicada nesta sexta-feira (8), à Revista Marie Claire, pertencente ao Grupo Globo, ela compartilhou a trajetória e suas perspectivas sobre o papel da mulher na política. Neste contexto, destacou que sua candidatura foi resultado de experiência política desde a juventude, além do apoio da família e da sua rede de aliados. Para Mirella, a vitória reflete a necessidade de renovar a política local, trazendo uma visão mais inclusiva e moderna para a cidade.

Nas eleições municipais de 2024, Almeida foi a 4ª prefeita mais votada do Brasil, com 111.613 votos, assinalando 51,38%. À reportagem, ela enfatizou a importância da liderança feminina, especialmente em um cenário onde a presença de mulheres em cargos de poder ainda é restrita. A futura prefeita de Olinda acredita que a política deve ser um reflexo da sociedade, e isso significa que as mulheres precisam ocupar mais espaços de decisão. “A política precisa de uma renovação; não de idade, mas de ideias e boas propostas”, destacou.

Como prefeita, aos 30 anos de idade, Mirella vai avançar com o cenário positivo trazido, desde 2017, pela atual gestão da cidade, sob o comando do Professor Lupércio, e que teve sua presença em questões estratégicas. Agora a rota é para a ampliação de políticas públicas, com ênfase em áreas como saúde, educação e segurança. Ela ressaltou a necessidade de o poder público se tornar uma rede de apoio para as mulheres, especialmente nos casos de violência doméstica, e de oferecer programas para promover a autonomia financeira e o empoderamento feminino.

O apoio expressivo da governadora de Pernambuco, Raquel Lyra (PSDB), também foi de grande valia nesta trajetória até o Palácio dos Governadores, sede do executivo municipal. Na entrevista, Mirella também falou sobre os desafios que enfrenta ao assumir a prefeitura em um contexto de desigualdade e dificuldades estruturais em todo o país. Ela reconhece que, apesar de sua juventude e vontade de transformar, há muito trabalho pela frente, sobretudo no desenvolvimento econômico, geração de emprego e renda, mais vagas de creche, saúde, educação, cultura e melhoria conjunta na qualidade de vida das pessoas.

Para Mirella, a política precisa ser renovada, incorporando práticas mais transparentes, tecnológicas e inclusivas, de modo a ser mais eficiente e próxima das pessoas. Por fim, a futura prefeita reforçou que a presença das mulheres na política é fundamental para a mudança social e que a política precisa ser mais empática, humana e acolhedora. Segundo ela, o papel é essencial na transformação da sociedade e na construção de um futuro mais justo e igualitário.
