Cumprindo agenda na Mata Norte do Estado, a governadora Raquel Lyra autorizou, nesta terça-feira (8), importantes obras nas áreas de segurança e recursos hídricos. Durante visita ao município de Goiana, a chefe do Executivo estadual anunciou o início das obras da Companhia Pernambucana de Saneamento (Compesa) com o objetivo de eliminar o rodízio de abastecimento de água na cidade e autorizou a publicação do edital de licitação para a construção da nova sede do 27º Batalhão de Polícia Militar (BPM). As duas ações somam investimentos no valor de R$ 18,5 milhões. A vice-governadora Priscila Krause também esteve presente.
“Estamos mudando a situação da Mata Norte do nosso Estado. Daremos fim ao rodízio de água em Goiana com a ativação de cinco poços e toda a estrutura necessária para garantir o abastecimento diário para a população. Ao mesmo tempo, estamos investindo R$ 12 milhões na construção do 27º Batalhão da Polícia Militar, fortalecendo a segurança da Mata Norte. É assim que o nosso governo trabalha, com planejamento, responsabilidade e entregas que chegam de verdade à vida das pessoas”, destacou a governadora Raquel Lyra.
Com investimentos no valor de R$ 12 milhões, o novo batalhão da Polícia Militar de Pernambuco (PMPE) vai atender oito municípios da Mata Norte “Hoje, a companhia independente do município responde pelas cidades de Goiana, Condado, Itaquitinga e Itambé. Com a instalação do novo batalhão, haverá reforço de efetivo e viaturas, ampliando também a área de responsabilidade para Timbaúba, Camutanga, Ferreiros e Aliança”, detalhou o secretário de Defesa Social, Alessandro Carvalho.
Com área total de 2.637,81 m², o projeto arquitetônico inclui guarita, bloco principal, quadra, recepção, auditório, setor administrativo, salas de reunião, refeitório, alojamentos e espaço para armazenamento de materiais. A execução da obra ficará sob responsabilidade da Companhia Estadual de Habitação e Obras (Cehab), com prazo estimado de 10 meses após a ordem de serviço.
Presente na solenidade, o prefeito de Goiana, Marcílio Régio, enalteceu a importância da iniciativa. “A chegada do Batalhão da Polícia Militar é um sonho de 30 anos, não somente de Goiana, mas de toda região da Zona da Mata. É uma obra muito importante. Isso mostra o compromisso do Governo do Estado com o nosso município”, pontuou o gestor municipal.
ABASTECIMENTO DE ÁGUA – Executada pela Compesa, a obra de reforço no sistema de abastecimento de água de Goiana terá um investimento de R$ 6,5 milhões. O projeto inclui a reativação de cinco poços do Polo Farmacoquímico, a implantação de uma estação elevatória de água bruta e a construção de um novo reservatório metálico.
“Além da ação da Compesa, há uma série de investimentos que serão direcionados à requalificação da estação de tratamento de água para solucionar o problema histórico de baixa qualidade da água aqui em Goiana. Vamos começar a entregar esses poços a partir de agosto, e os cinco serão totalmente entregues até janeiro de 2026″, detalhou o diretor-presidente da Compesa, Alex Campos.
Com o aumento na oferta de água de 70 litros por segundo, a expectativa é que mais de 55 mil pessoas sejam diretamente beneficiadas. O deputado estadual Antonio Moraes ressaltou que esta era uma necessidade da população da região. “Uma das grandes reclamações de Goiana era o abastecimento de água. O Governo do Estado está cumprindo o compromisso com essa obra muito aguardada pela população”, disse.
Também estiveram presentes na solenidade os secretários estaduais coronel Hercílio Mamede (Casa Militar), Rodrigo Ribeiro (Projetos Estratégicos) e Carlos Braga (Assistência Social, Combate à Fome e Políticas sobre Drogas); o diretor-presidente da Cehab, Paulo Lira; e o presidente da Câmara de Vereadores de Goiana, Eduardo Batista. Ainda acompanharam a agenda os prefeitos Eder Waltter (Vicência), Pedro Freitas (Aliança), Marcone Santos (São Vicente Férrer), Henrique Queiroz (Buenos Aires), Albino Silva (Condado) e Paquinha (Macaparana).
