Governadora Raquel Lyra anuncia investimento de R$ 8 milhões para reformar mercados e feira em Jaboatão dos Guararapes

Em mais uma iniciativa do Governo de Pernambuco na melhoria da infraestrutura urbana, a governadora Raquel Lyra deu ordem de serviço nesta quarta (04), para a reforma dos mercados públicos de Cavaleiro e das Mangueiras, além do Pátio da Feira de Jaboatão Centro, no município de Jaboatão dos Guararapes. Além disso, foi assinado protocolo de intenções para a construção da coberta do Pátio da Feira do Jordão. Juntas, as obras somam investimentos de R$ 8 milhões, executado pela Agência de Desenvolvimento Econômico de Pernambuco (Adepe).

A reforma do mercado público de Cavaleiro é uma demanda que se arrastava há mais de dez anos. “Acreditamos muito na força empreendedora da nossa gente, e os mercados públicos são grandes exemplos disso. Em Jaboatão dos Guararapes, demos ordens de serviços para a reforma dos mercados que, daqui a 15 dias, já iniciam suas obras. São várias melhorias para garantir o bem-estar das pessoas e fomentar o comércio local. Assim, vamos permitir que todos os permissionários que hoje atuam na venda de sua mercadoria possam fazer isso com dignidade e que esse espaço seja um lugar de convergência de pessoas, movimentando a nossa economia, gerando emprego e renda, além de cuidar da nossa população”, destacou a governadora Raquel Lyra.

No Mercado de Cavaleiro, será realizada a requalificação das instalações elétricas e hidrossanitárias, além da construção de uma nova Praça de Alimentação, com estrutura adequada para os boxes de alimentação. As melhorias também incluem o anexo do mercado, promovendo mais segurança, higiene e conforto, conforme as exigências da vigilância sanitária.

O diretor-presidente da Adepe, André Teixeira, pontuou que as intervenções visam modernizar a infraestrutura, oferecer melhores condições de trabalho aos feirantes e qualificar o atendimento ao público. “Após as intervenções, teremos esses equipamentos mais organizados, seguros, com maior higiene para que a gente possa ter um comércio cada vez mais forte. Sabemos que todo movimento econômico das cidades acontece nas suas feiras e mercados”, enfatizou.

Já no Mercado das Mangueiras, localizado no bairro de Prazeres, as obras se concentram na modernização do sistema elétrico, em um espaço de 15 mil m² com dois pavimentos. A nova infraestrutura incluirá a individualização do fornecimento de energia para os comerciantes, contribuindo para um ambiente de trabalho mais eficiente e seguro.

O prefeito de Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Mano Medeiros, ressaltou a importância dos mercados públicos para o município. “São equipamentos emblemáticos da nossa cidade. Quem ganha com essas ordens de serviços é a população pernambucana e jaboatonense. Meu sentimento é de gratidão ao Governo de Pernambuco por mais uma parceria com a nossa gestão municipal. A união é fundamental para que a gente dê resultados e respostas à nossa população”, enfatizou o gestor.

No Pátio da Feira de Jaboatão Centro, será construída uma cobertura em uma área de 448,61 m², com fundação e estrutura em concreto armado. A iniciativa deve beneficiar cerca de 100 feirantes, proporcionando melhores condições de comercialização e atendimento ao público.

“O apoio do Governo do Estado hoje é fundamental para que possamos concluir essas obras. Agradeço toda a parceria que a gestão tem feito com Jaboatão dos Guararapes”, disse o deputado federal André Ferreira. O deputado estadual Antônio Moraes também esteve presente. “As ações de hoje são muito importantes, o Mercado de Cavaleiro, por exemplo, há muito tempo precisava de uma reforma. A população cobrava isso há décadas”, externou o parlamentar.

Comerciante no bairro de Cavaleiro, Michael da Casa Coelho, de 47 anos, destacou a importância da iniciativa para os trabalhadores locais e ressaltou o sentimento de valorização com a presença do poder público na comunidade. “Um marco para todos nós, um momento que representa a melhoria concreta para o nosso bairro, mas também um gesto de reconhecimento para todos que moram, trabalham e constroem a história de Cavaleiro. A presença do Governo do Estado em nosso bairro reacende um sentimento de que finalmente estamos sendo ouvidos e vistos pelo poder público”, celebrou.

Também estiveram presentes na solenidade os deputados estaduais João Paulo, Nino de Enoque e Cleiton Collins, além de vereadores e lideranças políticas de Jaboatão.
