Fórum e Exposição Marcam Semana do Meio Ambiente na Alepe

Atividades no Recife e no interior envolvem escolas públicas, movimentos sociais, gestores públicos e órgãos de fiscalização ambiental

A Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco (Alepe) iniciou nesta segunda-feira (02/06) uma programação especial para celebrar a Semana Nacional do Meio Ambiente, com foco na conscientização ecológica, responsabilidade social e valorização da biodiversidade. As atividades começaram nesta segunda-feira (05/06) com o Seminário de “Emergência Climática: os Desafios da Transformação Ecológica” e se estendem até o dia 6 de junho, contemplando ações no Recife e em municípios do interior como Moreno, Caruaru e Floresta.

Um dos destaques da programação é o Fórum Estadual do Lixo e Cidadania, que será realizado nesta terça-feira (03/06), das 9h às 12h, na sede da Alepe. A plenária reunirá representantes do Coletivo de Catadores de Recicláveis, além de órgãos estaduais e municipais, para discutir políticas públicas de inclusão e valorização do trabalho dos catadores. Entre os participantes confirmados estão o procurador do Ministério Público do Trabalho da 6ª Região, Leonardo Mendonça, representantes das cooperativas Coocares e Coorepclast, e lideranças do setor de reciclagem.

Outro ponto alto da semana é a exposição “Parque de Dois Irmãos: O Coração do Pernambucano”, que apresenta ao público um mergulho na biodiversidade e na trajetória de conservação do Parque Estadual de Dois Irmãos. A mostra inclui fotografias, amostras de madeira, fungos, sementes, algas e plantas prensadas, proporcionando uma experiência educativa e sensorial sobre o valor ecológico do parque. A exposição está aberta à visitação no hall do Edifício Miguel Arraes, das 8h às 18h, durante toda a semana.

Com uma abordagem plural e integrada, a Semana do Meio Ambiente da Alepe reforça o papel do Poder Legislativo na promoção de políticas sustentáveis e na articulação com movimentos sociais, gestores públicos e a sociedade civil para enfrentar os desafios da crise climática.

Feira Agroecológica – Promovida entre os dias 02 e 04 de junho na Rua da União, no Recife, com produtos orgânicos e artesanais.

Plantio de Mudas – Em parceria com a Secretaria Estadual do Meio Ambiente, a ação “Manguezal Vivo” promove o plantio de 500 mudas de mangue na Rua da Aurora.

Ações no Interior – Atividades descentralizadas incluem oficinas de agrofloresta em Moreno, audiência pública sobre recursos hídricos em Caruaru e escuta comunitária sobre desafios ambientais em Floresta, no Sertão de Itaparica.
