O deputado federal André Ferreira (PL) participou, hoje (4), ao lado da governadora Raquel Lyra, da vice Priscila Krause e do prefeito de Jaboatão, Mano Medeiros,  do ato de assinatura da contratação de empresas para a execução da reforma das instalações físicas do Mercado de Cavaleiro, para a construção da coberta do novo Pátio de Feira de Jaboatão Centro e para a execução de serviços de reforma do sistema elétrico do Mercado das Mangueiras, todos no município.

“Quero agradecer a você, Raquel, por esse investimento. Por apoiar Jaboatão. Isso é um trabalho que começamos lá em 2016, na gestão do ex prefeito Anderson Ferreira, com um aporte de R$ 2.5 milhões e a construção de toda essa coberta aqui, além de toda drenagem do mercado e a qualificação da rua lateral. Agora vem mais. Quem sai ganhando é toda a população da cidade”, disse o parlamentar.

Em seu discurso, a governadora enalteceu o esforço do Governo do Estado em entregar obras importantes em todo o território pernambucano. Para o mercado de Cavaleiro, neste primeiro momento, a gestão assegurou  R$ 3 milhões em investimentos, mas já anunciou outros R$ 10 milhões.

“Esse apoio do Governo do Estado é fundamental para que a gente possa concluir esse mercado, que a gente vem há muito tempo colocando emenda aqui, ajudando Jaboatão. Caminhar de mãos dadas com o governo ajuda bastante”, disse o deputado.

André Ferreira ressaltou, no seu discurso, o trabalho do atual prefeito Mano Medeiros. “Parabenizo também o esforço do prefeito Mano, que está com a gente desde o início, de quando chegamos na cidade – na primeira gestão Anderson Ferreira. Nos orgulhamos de você à frente da cidade, de ver que você tá continuando tudo que a gente começou. Isso mostra o seu compromisso e sua competência. Pode contar conosco lá em Brasília”, finalizou o parlamentar.
