Em Aula Magna da Saúde da Uninassau, Gilmar Júnior motiva estudantes e defende inclusão

Presidente do Conselho Regional de Enfermagem (Coren-PE), o deputado Gilmar Júnior (PV) participou, na noite da últimasegunda-feira (24), da Aula Magna da Saúde da Universidade Maurício de Nassau (Uninassau), no bairro das Graças, no Recife.

O parlamentar falou para uma plateia formada por 250 novos estudantes de vários cursos, como enfermagem, farmácia, odontologia, fisioterapia e medicina veterinária. Durante aproximadamente 40 minutos, Gilmar Júnior conversou com os alunos sobre ética e cidadania, além de dar dicas de como crescer nas profissões.

Com palavras de encorajamento, o deputado orientou os jovens a agarrarem as chances profissionais, relatou um pouco do que é vivido durante a experiência acadêmica e motivou os estudantes a respeitarem professores, colegas e pacientes.

“Você tem que valorizar o fato de estar na universidade, de ter conseguido entrar no seu curso. Logo no início, vai causar muita estranheza. Vocês vão sentir um misto de muitas coisas, como cansaço. Vão precisar se adaptar, se empolgar com algumas coisas, se assustar com outras. Irão conviver com gente que você nunca viu. Nesse redemoinho, estarão seus futuros amigos, as pessoas que vão lhe dar suporte, os professores que vocês vão admirar, as técnicas que vocês vão aprender para salvar a vida das pessoas”, destacou.

Além de presidir o Coren-PE, Gilmar Júnior é presidente da Comissão de Defesa da Pessoa com Deficiência e Atipicidades da Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco (Alepe). Para ele, a inclusão é algo inegociável. Por esse motivo, o deputado proferiu a palestra da Aula Magna com o auxílio de um profissional intérprete de Libras.

O parlamentar reforçou o caráter diverso do ambiente acadêmico. “É extremamente importante todo mundo entender que a universidade é um ambiente plural. Aqui, você tem que respeitar quem é gay, lésbica, trans, preto, branco, quem é do Interior. A pluralidade da universidade é uma característica da universidade”, enfatizou.

    I’m going to start my own blog iin the newar future but I’mhaving a tough time making a decision beetween BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
