O deputado federal Eduardo da Fonte (PP-PE) encaminhou ao Ministério da Saúde um novo ofício reiterando o pedido de credenciamento no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) do setor de cardiologia e hemodinâmica do Hospital e Maternidade Santa Maria, em Araripina, no Sertão do Araripe. A solicitação foi feita a pedido da deputada estadual Roberta Arraes e busca garantir o funcionamento imediato desse serviço essencial para a população da região.
O hospital, mantido pelo Instituto Social Medianeiras da Paz, já possui estrutura pronta para oferecer atendimento de alta complexidade na área cardiovascular. No entanto, ainda aguarda o credenciamento formal junto ao Ministério da Saúde, por meio da proposta SAIPS nº 212375, vinculada à Política Nacional de Atenção Cardiovascular de Alta Complexidade.
No documento, Eduardo da Fonte destaca o cenário crítico da rede de cardiologia na Macrorregião Interestadual de Saúde PEBA, que abrange os estados de Pernambuco e Bahia. Segundo o parlamentar, a região enfrenta sérios desafios na regulação de leitos para pacientes com infarto agudo do miocárdio (IAM), o que compromete diretamente a resposta rápida e adequada aos casos de emergência.
“A Central Interestadual de Leitos enfrenta dificuldades na regulação de vagas, ausência de emergências SUS com vaga zero para trombólise e escassez de unidades habilitadas com estrutura adequada. A habilitação do Hospital Santa Maria é uma alternativa viável, estruturada e urgente para salvar vidas no Sertão do Araripe”, explicou o deputado.
Eduardo da Fonte reforça que o credenciamento do hospital permitirá a ampliação do acesso à assistência cardiovascular de qualidade, com diagnóstico, tratamento e procedimentos emergenciais, reduzindo o tempo de espera e melhorando os indicadores de saúde da região.
