Diego Cabral assina primeira ordem de serviço do programa Tapetão, de revitalização dos campos de várzea de Camaragibe, no valor de R$ 1,5 milhão

Projeto inédito da prefeitura contempla a implantação de gramado sintético, alambrados, vestiários, drenagem e iluminação, beneficiando várias comunidades e estimulando a prática do futebol

Os amantes do futebol de várzea em Camaragibe terão mais um bom motivo para não abrir mão da famosa “pelada” semanalmente. A Prefeitura de Camaragibe, através da Secretaria de Esportes, anunciou, na noite desta segunda-feira (24/02), o inédito programa Tapetão, que vai implementar gramado sintético, alambrados, vestiários, drenagem e iluminação em diversos campos do município, estimulando a prática do esporte e oferecendo mais qualidade de vida para a população.

A primeira ordem de serviço já foi assinada pelo prefeito de Camaragibe, Diego Cabral, e a empresa TCE Empreendimentos Esportivos durante mais uma cerimônia do “Segundou com trabalho”. O primeiro campo de várzea contemplado no programa Tapetão é o estádio do bairro de Vera Cruz, o Canetão, também conhecido por “Campo do Rachão”, em Aldeia. Serão investidos R$ 1,5 milhão na revitalização da praça esportiva. As obras começam nesta terça-feira (25/02) e têm prazo máximo de 90 dias.

“Camaragibe tem muitos campos de várzea que são fontes de talentos no futebol. Nada mais justo e estimulante que a prefeitura investir na revitalização desses campos, com um gramado sintético que ofereça melhores condições para a prática esportiva nos diversos bairros da cidade. O esporte é vida, faz bem para a saúde, para as comunidades e afasta muita gente da criminalidade e violência. Nosso papel também é fazer mais pelos esportes da nossa cidade e faremos isso com bons projetos”, declarou Diego Cabral.

De acordo com Neto Fonseca, secretário de Esportes de Camaragibe, a prefeitura está realizando um estudo para definir a quantidade total de campos de várzea que serão revitalizados no município, mas o objetivo da gestão é levar a iniciativa ao maior número possível de bairros, dentro da limitação orçamentária da pasta. Ele destacou que o investimento em cada campo será variado, dependendo das dimensões nesses locais, e elogiou a sensibilidade do prefeito Diego Cabral ao comprar a ideia do programa Tapetão. Neste primeiro campo que será revitalizado, o objetivo é concluir as obras em 60 dias.

“Nosso prefeito, Diego Cabral, conhece bem a realidade do futebol de várzea, pois ele foi atleta profissional, por muito tempo jogou e ainda hoje joga futebol pelas comunidades de Camaragibe. Então, nada mais bonito que abraçar essa ideia, esse projeto tão importante para oferecer mais qualidade de vida, diversão e possibilidades de um futuro melhor para as pessoas, afinal algum talento pode ser descoberto e, quem sabe, mudar a vida daquela família”, destacou Neto Fonseca.

No evento desta noite na comunidade do Vera Cruz, além do prefeito Diego Cabral participaram a vice-prefeita, Comandante Débora, secretários municipais, o deputado estadual João de Nadegi (PV), o advogado e economista Carlos Costa, representando o ministro de Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho, e muitos moradores, principalmente crianças e adolescentes que diariamente jogam futebol nos campinhos da localidade e no próprio Canetão.
