Câmara do Recife aprova Medalha José Mariano ao ministro Silvio Costa Filho

A Câmara Municipal do Recife aprovou, por unanimidade, nesta terça-feira (3), o Projeto de Decreto Legislativo nº 13/2025, de autoria do vereador Hélio Guabiraba (PSB), que concede a Medalha de Mérito José Mariano ao ministro de Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho.

A honraria é uma das mais importantes do Legislativo recifense e reconhece personalidades que contribuem significativamente para o desenvolvimento da cidade.

Durante a justificativa da proposição, o vereador destacou a trajetória pública de Silvio Costa Filho e sua atuação à frente do ministério, com atenção especial ao Recife e a Pernambuco. Um dos pontos destacados foi a implantação da Sala TEA (Transtorno do Espectro Autista) no Aeroporto Internacional do Recife, espaço sensorial pensado para acolher pessoas com autismo e suas famílias.

“O ministro Silvio tem feito um trabalho exemplar, combinando investimentos em infraestrutura com sensibilidade social. A Sala TEA é um símbolo disso, mas não é o único. Ele tem atuado para fortalecer os portos e aeroportos da nossa região, trazendo desenvolvimento e oportunidades para o nosso povo”, destacou Hélio Guabiraba.
