Atletas Olímpicas são homenageadas na ALEPE

A boxeadora olímpica Caroline Almeida Naka, além da marchadora atlética Érica Sena e da goleira da seleção feminina de handebol Renata Arruda, serão diplomadas pela Comissão de Defesa dos Direitos da Mulher da Assembleia Legislativa do Estado de Pernambuco. O colegiado fará a entrega de um voto de aplauso às atletas pernambucanas na sessão de reabertura do semestre legislativo da Comissão, que vai acontecer na próxima terça-feira (13), às 10h30, no Plenarinho 3 da Casa Legislativa.

“As atletas brasileiras fizeram história nestas Olimpíadas, não apenas pelo número de atletas, com mais da metade da delegação formada por mulheres, mas também pelos resultados positivos nas diversas categorias. Nós, deputadas da Comissão da Mulher da ALEPE, não poderíamos deixar de prestigiar esse feito. São conquistas que devem ser celebradas e que servem de inspiração para toda a mulherada”, declarou a Delegada Gleide Ângelo, presidente da Comissão.

Primeira pernambucana a se sagrar campeã nacional no Campeonato Brasileiro de Boxe Elite Feminino e uma das responsáveis pela
campanha bem sucedida do boxe feminino, Carol Naka é 3º sargento da marinha brasileira e confirmou presença na sessão. Por não morarem mais no Brasil, as pernambucanas Érica Sena e Renata Arruda serão representadas por seus familiares.

“As mulheres são capazes de feitos incríveis e esse resultado que tivemos em Paris é uma resposta às politicas de incentivo e de melhores condições de respeito e de trabalho para as atletas femininas. Estamos dando condições para que as mulheres sejam protagonistas de suas histórias e vemos os resultados de maneira individual e coletiva. A mulherada pode chegar muito além do que jamais foi permitido, e não apenas no esporte. Estamos nessa luta, que jamais será em vão”, frisou a presidente da Comissão, Gleide Ângelo.
