Durante o mês de junho, os alunos do 2º período do curso de Medicina da FACISST-AESET estão à frente da campanha de doação de sangue intitulada “Eu Dou o Sangue Pelo Meu Curso”, sob a coordenação do professor Emanuel Cordeiro.
A ação tem como principal objetivo mobilizar a população sobre a importância da doação de sangue, especialmente neste período em que o HEMOPE Serra Talhada enfrenta baixos níveis de estoque.
A campanha busca sensibilizar a comunidade acadêmica e a população em geral para a importância de manter os bancos de sangue abastecidos, reforçando que um único gesto pode salvar várias vidas. Com a iniciativa, os estudantes também promovem o engajamento social e o compromisso com a saúde pública, valores fundamentais na formação médica.
Nesta tarde da quinta-feira, 5 de junho, os alunos vestiram literalmente a camisa da campanha e levaram a causa para uma das principais avenidas de Serra Talhada. Com cartazes, panfletos e muita energia, chamaram a atenção de pedestres e motoristas, convidando todos a se tornarem doadores. A mobilização segue ao longo do mês, com ações educativas e incentivo direto à doação voluntária no HEMOPE local.
