A vereadora do Recife, Kari Santos, e a deputada estadual, Dani Portela, protocolaram juntas, na Alepe e na Câmara Municipal do Recife, projetos de lei para a criação do Selo de Igualdade Salarial de reconhecimento a empresas que garantam critérios de remunerações iguais para homens e mulheres.
“Por mais absurdo que pareça, nos tempos de hoje, ainda existem empresas que pagam mais aos homens que exercem a mesma função das mulheres. Além de dupla jornada, a mulher sofre com desvalorização salarial, fazendo com que muitas precisem de mais de um vínculo empregatício para composição financeira”, afirma a deputada.
Os projetos também preveem punição para as empresas que praticarem desigualdade salarial. “O Selo será o certificado de que a empresa está dentro da lei que garante a isonomia salarial de gênero. Em contrapartida, estamos propondo uma penalidade para quem insistir em continuar com essa prática de desvalorização da mulher: não poderá ser contratado pela Administração Pública e perderá incentivos fiscais”, explicou Kari Santos.
“Nós ainda somos preteridas por engravidar e por termos dupla jornada, como se o homem também não tivesse filhos e não fosse responsável pelo lar. Para além disso, somos obrigadas a aceitar um salário inferior apenas por sermos mulheres. Essa situação é um completo absurdo e precisa ser mudada urgentemente. Igualdade não é favor, é um direito!”, concluiu Dani Portela.
