Simão Durando oficializa candidatura à reeleição em convenção com mais de cinco mil pessoas

O prefeito e candidato à reeleição Simão Durando deu uma demonstração de força já na largada oficial para a campanha. Perante mais de cinco mil pessoas, Simão e Ricardo Coelho oficializaram, na noite desta sexta (02), a chapa de prefeito e vice de Petrolina, pelo União Brasil (UB). O ato partidário ocorreu na casa de shows Zé Matuto, que foi tomada por uma multidão azul, cor que simboliza a coligação “Petrolina Seguindo em Frente”.

Simão e Ricardo chegaram ao local acompanhados de seus familiares e importantes lideranças políticas como os deputados Antonio Coelho, Fernando Filho, o ex-senador Fernando Bezerra e o ex-prefeito Miguel Coelho. Os candidatos do União Brasil foram abraçados e ovacionados pela multidão até subir no palanque.

Os discursos do grupo político durante o evento destacaram o legado de avanços que fizeram Petrolina ser referência em desenvolvimento e qualidade de vida nos últimos anos. Simão reforçou compromissos com a saúde, educação, infraestrutura, social, segurança e o saneamento de 100% da zona urbana. Emocionado, o candidato à reeleição ainda lembrou do pai, Simão Durando Amorim, e disse que continuará trabalhando junto do povo, priorizando as comunidades.

“Vocês não sabem como tá meu coração. Estou muito emocionado. Quando cheguei na prefeitura como prefeito, eu lembrei que meu pai subiu ali inúmeras vezes. Eu aprendi com meu pai a missão de cuidar das pessoas. Passo 20% do meu tempo no gabinete e o resto é na rua. Eu calcei a bota e arregacei as mangas, junto com um time que ama essa cidade. Agora, vamos seguir em frente, reforçando a segurança, aumentando os investimentos na saúde, saneando 100% da zona urbana. Vamos ficar longe de politicagem e mais perto da nossa gente para Petrolina continuar seguindo em frente”, garantiu o candidato à reeleição pelo UB.

Prefeito que antecedeu Simão em Petrolina, Miguel Coelho fez uma fala forte, ressaltando que a cidade não pode voltar atrás e precisa manter o ritmo de trabalho. “É impossível não passar um filme e falarmos das conquistas e de tudo que foi realizado. O nosso maior desafio era devolver o sorriso no rosto do petrolinense. Essa é a eleição da afirmação, de quem reconhece tudo que foi feito nos últimos oito anos. A semente está dando fruto com o trabalho de Simão. Portanto, é a eleição da afirmação, da defesa de tudo que foi feito nos últimos anos. E para seguir em frente é com Simão e Ricardo”, disse o ex-prefeito Miguel.

Além das candidaturas a prefeito e vice de Petrolina, o evento do UB oficializou 22 nomes para concorrer à Câmara de Vereadores. A chapa da coligação “Petrolina Seguindo em Frente ” reúne até o momento nove partidos União Brasil, PDT, Podemos, Avante, PRD, Solidariedade, PSB, Republicanos e Democracia Cristã. Ao todo, a coligação deverá contar com cerca de 140 candidatos.

Simão Amorim Durando Filho é natural de Petrolina, e filho do ex-prefeito Simão Amorim Durando e de Josefa Durando, é casado com Alinne Monteiro Cavalcante Durando, pai de duas filhas: Giovanna e Ana Luh. O prefeito é bacharel em Publicidade e Marketing, pela Faculdade FATEC de São Paulo, e pós-graduado em Gestão Empresarial, pela Fundação Dom Cabral. Ainda constam em seu currículo cursos de extensão pelo Instituto Brasiliense de Direito (IDP): Extensão em Orçamento Público, extensão em Gestão de Pessoas e Gestão em Licitações e contratos.

Além das candidaturas à prefeito e vice, o evento do UB oficializou 22 nomes para concorrer ao legislativo. Até a convenção de Simão e Ricardo, a coligação “Petrolina seguindo em frente”, reúne 9 partidos (União Brasil, PDT, Podemos, Avante, PRD, Solidariedade, PSB, Republicanos e Democracia Cristã). Ao todo, a coligação contará com 140 candidatos.

Ricardo Lundgren Coelho, 34 anos, é casado com Rayane Catão e pai de primeira viagem da futura Maria Luísa. Filho de Flávio Coelho e Regina Lundgren, Ricardo é neto de Dona Lourdes e Geraldo Coelho, ex-prefeito e deputado. Ricardo é formado em relações internacionais pela Faculdade de Economia da FAAP – Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado e pós-graduado em gestão financeira pela FGV – SP. Atualmente, é empresário atuante no mercado imobiliário e da construção civil.
