Acordo vai permitir que os dois países ampliem a cooperação e compartilhem conhecimento e tecnologia no setor
Em encontro no Palácio do Planalto nesta quarta-feira (19), o ministro de Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho, assinou memorando de entendimento com o ministro de Estado e de Negócios Estrangeiros de Portugal, Paulo Rangel, para ampliar a cooperação entre os dois países no setor de portos e no desenvolvimento da infraestrutura e operações dos terminais.
Com o acordo de cooperação, fica estabelecido que os dois países se comprometem a trocar conhecimentos sobre a sustentabilidade e a descarbonização dos portos e o desenvolvimento de corredores verdes entre os portos de ambos os países, além de partilhar conhecimentos e projetos comuns sobre digitalização dos portos e sobre os sistemas de informação portuários, em especial a Janela Única Portuária e o Porto sem Papel.
Os dois Estados devem também concordar com a troca de conhecimentos sobre a relação porto-cidade e a proteção do ambiente nos portos, compartilhar tecnologia e experiência na área e operações de terminais e troca de informações sobre engenharia e construção portuária e intercâmbio de recursos humanos, incluindo especialistas portuários, e fornecimento de programas de formação também estão no documento.
Para o ministro Silvio Costa Filho, as medidas acordadas no memorando vão permitir ampliar e desenvolver o setor nos dois países desenvolvimento para o setor “No comércio internacional, será protagonista quem adotar medidas de descarbonização, de redução da emissão de gases de estufa. Esta parceria com Portugal coloca nossos países nesta linha, ajustando não apenas nossas infraestruturas mas toda a navegação no caminho da sustentabilidade”.
O memorando de entendimento incentiva, ainda, a participação do setor privado no processo de cooperação. Um grupo de trabalho também deverá ser estabelecido para coordenar as atividades previstas no documento.
