Prefeitura de Petrolina inicia mutirão de exames de imagens que ofertará 22 mil procedimentos

O final de semana em Petrolina foi marcado por mais uma grande ação de saúde pública no município. A prefeitura deu início ao mutirão de exames de imagens que irá ofertar mais de 22 mil procedimentos. Com um investimento de mais de R$ 600 mil, a força-tarefa tem o objetivo de zerar as filas de espera para dezenas de especialidades, atendendo pacientes das áreas urbana e rural da cidade.

Estão sendo ofertados os exames de ressonâncias; tomografias; raio-x; densitometria; mamografia; ECG; EEG e ultrassonografia. O mutirão segue nos próximos dias atendendo todas as pessoas que estão com as guias de solicitação de exames nos postos de saúde. Para isso, os profissionais de saúde estão entrando em contato, através do número de telefone informado na guia, avisando ao paciente sobre o local, a data e horário do exame.

O prefeito Simão Durando fez questão de acompanhar tudo e não escondeu a alegria e emoção ao conversar com os pacientes que estavam aguardando. “Sabendo das necessidades dessas pessoas e, principalmente, da urgência dessas demandas. Iniciamos neste final de semana e a partir de agora vamos ampliar esse atendimento. Ainda nesta semana vamos anunciar novas ações e mutirões, garantindo o avanço e o cuidado com o nosso povo”, concluiu o gestor.

A iniciativa foi comemorada por aqueles que aguardavam na fila para realizar algum dos exames, a exemplo da paciente Maria das Graças, de 64 anos. ” Eu estava numa grande expectativa. Quando recebi a ligação fiquei muito alegre. Hoje eu acordei de madrugada na ansiedade. Esse mutirão é muito bom porque a gente vai saber se tem algum problema e tratar direitinho”, destacou.
