Lula homenageia Eduardo Campos e diz que seu legado vive nos filhos

O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva homenageou o ex-governador de Pernambuco Eduardo Campos nesta terça-feira, data que marca os 10 anos da morte dele. Ao elogiar o político e enaltecer seu trabalho, Lula disse que o legado do ex-governador continua vivo, especialmente em seus filhos.

Em publicação no X, antigo Twitter, Lula disse que sua relação com o ex-governador “ia muito além da política”. “Eduardo fazia política sem ódio. Herdou do avô o gosto pela negociação, a sensibilidade social e a habilidade para unir as pessoas”, escreveu o petista.

“Nossa parceria no meu segundo mandato foi a das mais fortes que já tive com um governador, e levou desenvolvimento para Pernambuco. Mais do que uma respeitada liderança pernambucana e nordestina, se tornou uma referência nacional”, complementou.

Na mensagem em homenagem aos dez anos da morte de Eduardo Campos, Lula disse que o político “nos deixou muito cedo, privando o Brasil de um de seus homens públicos mais preparados, uma pessoa que eu via como um futuro presidente da República”. “Nos dez anos de sua morte, o legado de Eduardo Campos continua vivo, em especial nos seus filhos, que com ele aprenderam desde pequenos a importância da política”, finalizou.
