Liana é eleita vereadora com votação histórica da esquerda no Recife

Com 14.810 votos, parlamentar ocupa a posição de segunda mais votada pela esquerda em toda história da capital pernambucana.

A vereadora do PT e professora de direito da UFPE, Liana Cirne, foi eleita com uma votação histórica na esquerda para a Câmara do Recife. A parlamentar teve um total de 14.810 votos neste domingo, 6 de outubro, ficando atrás apenas de Humberto Costa, na eleição de 2000.

Liana apresentou um crescimento expressivo em relação ao pleito de 2020, quando foi eleita com 6.819 votos.

Neste ano a parlamentar foi a 7ª mais votada da capital. Liana conseguiu construir uma candidatura somando apoios importantes de categorias sindicais, como de Ivete Caetano, presidenta do Sintepe, diretores do SIMPERE, além da senadora Teresa Leitão (PT) e Humberto Costa (PT).

Nas redes sociais, Liana agradeceu a votação e falou do legado do PT na Câmara.

“Obrigada, Recife. Uma vitória maiúscula com a cara do povo e o respaldo da classe trabalhadora que confiou em mim para continuar o legado do Partido dos Trabalhadores na Câmara do Recife”, disse Liana Cirne.

Durante toda a campanha, Liana conseguiu dialogar com o eleitorado ao apresentar um balanço do mandato, como as mais de 2600 ações legislativas e posições durante as votações, como quando foi contra a Reforma da Previdência, a privatização dos parques e creches e votando não ao autolicenciamento ambiental na cidade.
