Gestão Rodrigo Pinheiro é destaque em investimentos na Educação

Ao longo de dois anos de gestão, o prefeito Rodrigo Pinheiro tornou Caruaru a cidade com melhor acesso à educação em Pernambuco. O levantamento foi desenvolvido pelo Centro de Liderança Pública e analisa os indicadores de taxa de atendimento, taxa de matrícula e percentual de alunos em tempo integral da Educação Infantil, do Ensino Fundamental e do Ensino Médio.

A premiação é resultado de uma série de investimentos adotados pelo gestor, tanto na infraestrutura das escolas como na capacitação dos profissionais que compõem a rede municipal. “Saindo da pandemia, nossa gestão teve o desafio de organizar a retomada da cidade, das escolas. E não paramos de cuidar de todas as áreas. Hoje, Caruaru tem a mais qualificada frota escolar do estado de Pernambuco, tem uma merenda que é resultado de investimento na agricultura familiar, tem ar-condicionado em todas as escolas, tem um PCC dos professores atualizado… Esses investimentos sempre foram nossa prioridade”, relembrou o prefeito.

Um dos destaques da gestão é o investimento na capacitação dos profissionais da educação, incluindo a oferta de formação continuada para os professores, bibliotecários, coordenadores pedagógicos e gestores escolares, além da atualização do Manual do Secretário Escolar, o treinamento de auxiliares da Educação Infantil para Primeiros Socorros e a capacitação para todas as merendeiras sobre alimentação saudável, em parceria com organizações internacionais.

Além disso, em julho deste ano, o prefeito anunciou um pacote de investimentos de R$ 16 milhões, que será utilizado para a aquisição de novos ônibus escolares, construção de quadras esportivas, compra de mobiliários e eletrodomésticos para as unidades e obras de construção e reconstrução de creches.
