Em grande convenção, PSB oficializa Véia de Aprígio à prefeitura de Surubim

No último domingo (04), o Partido Socialista Brasileiro realizou grande convenção que oficializou o nome de Véia de Aprígio como candidata à prefeitura de Surubim. Ivete do Sindicado, do Partido dos Trabalhadores, compõe a chapa como candidata à vice-prefeita.

O evento reuniu diversas lideranças políticas. Ao lado da prefeita da cidade, Ana Célia, estiveram presente o deputado federal Pedro Campos, o prefeito da cidade do Recife, João Campos, o secretário de Governo e Participação Social do Recife, Aldemar Santos, o deputado estadual, Rodrigo Farias, o Superintendente da SUDENE, Danilo Cabral, e o ex-deputado estadual Nilton Mota.

Durante a sua fala, Pedro ressaltou a trajetória de Véia como aliada dos avanços conquistados pela cidade. “A trajetória de Véia não tem curva, não tem atalho, sempre foi um caminho reto ao lado do povo de Surubim. Foi a vereadora mais votada por cinco dos seis mandatos que exerceu na câmara municipal, lutando sempre pela cidade. Na prefeitura vai fazer mais e melhor, continuando o bom trabalho que Ana Célia realizou à frente da gestão”, afirmou Pedro.

O prefeito do Recife João Campos destacou, em seu discurso, a história do PSB no município. “Véia você conta comigo e eu não podia deixar de estar ao seu lado. Temos um time liderado por Ana Célia que carrega uma história que tem entrega, decência, correção e capacidade de fazer bem feito. O povo de Surubim não vai se submeter a um arranjo desastroso, que não pensa no povo, nem nos interesses da luta popular, que aqui na cidade é representada por Véia”, afirmou João.

Véia fez duras críticas a candidaturas que não têm identidade com a cidade. “Sabe quantas vezes esses forasteiros vão subir na prefeitura? Nenhuma. A gente tem coragem e tem trabalho. E se tem uma coisa que a gente tem que esse povo nunca vai ter é carregar Surubim no coração”, afirmou Véia.

Pedro ressaltou as entregas feitas pela gestão municipal. “Todos conhecem a capacidade de trabalho de Ana, de juntar gente, de montar um time e fazer a prefeitura moer principalmente para quem mais precisa. Ana ajudou Eduardo a cuidar do povo e eu tenho certeza que o legado de Ana vai ajudar Véia a fazer uma excelente gestão na prefeitura”, afirmou.
