O deputado federal Eduardo da Fonte (PP/PE) encaminhou dois ofícios ao ministro da Saúde, Alexandre Padilha, solicitando a liberação de funcionamento dos equipamentos de Medicina Nuclear do Hospital de Câncer do Sertão do Araripe (HCSA) e o credenciamento do setor de cardiologia do Hospital e Maternidade Santa Maria no SUS, ambos pertencentes ao Instituto Social das Medianeiras da Paz (ISMEP), em Araripina.
No primeiro ofício, Eduardo da Fonte pede a liberação dos equipamentos de Medicina Nuclear, já autorizados pela Comissão Nacional de Energia Nuclear (CNEN).
No segundo, o parlamentar solicita o credenciamento do setor de cardiologia, que já está pronto para funcionar e pode ajudar a reduzir o tempo de resposta e melhorar o atendimento a pacientes com Infarto Agudo do Miocárdio (IAM). Atualmente, pacientes precisam se deslocar para longas distâncias, como Petrolina, Caruaru e Salvador, para realizar tratamentos.
A solicitação foi feita pela Irmã Fátima, diretora da instituição, e pela deputada estadual Roberta Arraes durante a visita do deputado ao HCSA, onde foram anunciados R$ 5 milhões em emendas da bancada estadual e federal do Partido Progressistas para a finalização do Primeiro Hospital do Câncer do Sertão do Araripe.
“Esses serviços são fundamentais para garantir um atendimento mais rápido e eficiente à população de Araripina e de todo o Sertão do Araripe, fortalecendo o sistema de saúde local e salvando vidas,” afirmou Eduardo da Fonte.
