A Compesa disponibilizou dois novos caminhões para agilizar os serviços de manutenção do Sistema de Esgotamento Sanitário de Fernando de Noronha. Dois caminhões hidrojato desembarcaram na ilha e já estão sendo utilizados nos serviços de manutenção das redes coletoras. Um dos veículos tem capacidade para transportar 11 mil litros de efluentes e possui um reservatório para quatro mil litros de água que será utilizado principalmente nos serviços de desobstrução com jatos de água com alta velocidade e pressão. O novo equipamento será o principal utilizado nas manutenções e é mais robusto, e substituiu o veículo utilizado anteriormente nas atividades de campo, sendo um forte aliado das operações da Compesa e da melhoria dos serviços de esgotamento sanitário prestados no arquipélago.
O caminhão tem potencial para realizar até 200 viagens por mês para limpeza e desobstrução das redes de esgoto e foi locado pela Compesa por meio de um contrato de manutenção que prevê a prestação do serviço (caminhão hidrojato) de forma contínua na ilha. “Este equipamento seria suficiente para atender às demandas do arquipélago, mas levando-se em consideração as particularidades da ilha, a Compesa optou por utilizar um segundo caminhão como reserva. O veículo atuará eventualmente no apoio à execução das solicitações dos clientes, de acordo com o volume de serviços recebidos”, explica o presidente da Compesa, Alex Campos. O segundo caminhão hidrojato tem capacidade para transportar nove mil litros de efluentes e possui um reservatório também para quatro mil litros de água.
“Os caminhões foram trazidos para atendermos a população de forma ainda mais eficiente. Com o aumento da capacidade de transporte de efluentes e o potencial do jato, vamos conseguir dar celeridade aos chamados, melhorando muito a nossa operação. A prestação do serviço será mais ágil com a chegada dos veículos e a população perceberá as mudanças”, disse o gerente de Unidade de Negócio da Compesa, Antônio Lucena.
Os efluentes coletados no arquipélago são tratados atualmente em duas Estações de Tratamento de Esgoto (ETE) da Compesa, as ETEs Boldró e Cachorro. Juntas, elas tratam cerca de 150 mil metros cúbicos por ano, que chegam através de 9 mil metros de redes coletoras de esgoto.
