Sob nova direção 

Fruto da fusão entre PSL e Democratas, o União Brasil tem sido marcado por uma forte divisão entre as alas do partido oriundas de seus antecessores. Graças ao prestígio de Jair Bolsonaro o PSL deixou de ser uma legenda nanica e a fusão entre as duas agremiações inverteu uma tendência de queda do Democratas, que caminhava para a extinção devido a perda de quadros agravada com a criação do PSD em 2011.

O atual presidente Luciano Bivar, que já era um empresário bem-sucedido, ampliou sua influência política na capital federal, ocupando postos importantes na Câmara dos Deputados na legislatura passada e na atual. Além disso, Bivar delegou a Antônio Rueda muitas atribuições no tocante a articulação política do partido, e pouco a pouco Rueda tornou-se um importante player da legenda. Na condição de vice-presidente era o sucessor natural de Luciano Bivar no comando da legenda.

Porém, o que poderia ser um consenso, culminou numa aliança entre Rueda e a ala do antigo Democratas liderada por ACM Neto. Então ontem, apesar de questionamentos quanto à legalidade da eleição, Rueda acabou elegendo-se presidente nacional do União Brasil e passa a ser um importante ator na conjuntura nacional, especialmente na governabilidade do presidente Lula e na construção das eleições para a presidência da Câmara e do Senado no próximo ano.

Além disso,  sob novo comando, o União Brasil também poderá avaliar uma federação com o PP e o Republicanos, tornando-se ainda mais forte no Congresso Nacional. Se durante a gestão de Bivar essa hipótese estava descartada, agora sob Rueda as articulações seguirão para uma materialização, mas para que tenha validade ainda em 2024, o prazo é exíguo e dependerá de grande celeridade por parte das legendas envolvidas.

Republicanos – O Republicanos vem se fortalecendo em Pernambuco sob a liderança do ministro dos Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho. A legenda filiou o ex-prefeito João Baleia para disputar a prefeitura de São José da Coroa Grande. O ato contou com a presença do deputado federal Augusto Coutinho e do presidente do partido, Samuel Andrade. Ele enfrentará o nome escolhido pelo prefeito Pel Lages, que vive um momento de fim de gestão.

Aeroporto – A governadora Raquel Lyra, e o ministro dos Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho, cumprirão agenda em Caruaru ao lado do prefeito Rodrigo Pinheiro nesta sexta-feira para anunciar investimentos para o aeroporto Oscar Laranjeira na cidade. A requalificação vai promover a ampliação do aeródromo e possibilitar a chegada de aeronaves de grande porte para permitir voos para as principais capitais brasileiras.
