Por meio de processo formalizado pela Prefeitura do Jaboatão dos Guararapes, a Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) retomou 24 apartamentos do Habitacional Suassuna, no bairro de Muribequinha, que serão renegociados, a partir desta segunda-feira (12). As famílias que assinarão contrato ao longo da semana fazem parte do cadastro habitacional do município e passaram por todas as exigências da CEF e comprovação de vulnerabilidade social. Aquelas inscritas no Bolsa Família ou no BPC (Benefício de Prestação Continuada) ficam isentas de pagamento.
“Os imóveis foram retomados por descumprimento contratual. Recebemos denúncia a respeito de algumas unidades que haviam sido comercializadas ou alugadas, o que é proibido no contrato assinado por eles junto à CEF. Apenas os proprietários podem residir nesses habitacionais, pois o objetivo é justamente o de prover moradia a quem mais precisa. Então abrimos a investigação e fizemos a denúncia, que foi comprovada, gerando o distrato contratual”, explica o secretário de Desenvolvimento Urbano do Jaboatão, Edson Queiroz.
O Habitacional Suassuna possui duas mil unidades, divididas em sete quadras. Os prédios foram construídos por iniciativa do município, dentro do Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida – Faixa 1 (renda de até R$ 1,8 mil à época), para garantir moradia digna a famílias com vulnerabilidade social, reduzindo o déficit habitacional do Jaboatão. A entrega dos apartamentos ocorreu entre 2018 e 2022.
