A justificativa de Zema para faltar ao ato pró-impeachment de Moraes

O governador de Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema, foi uma das ausências sentidas no 7 de setembro realizado na Av. Paulista, com a presença de Jair Bolsonaro. A principal bandeira foi o impeachment do ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) Alexandre de Moraes, defendida pelo próprio ex-presidente na manifestação.

A avaliação dos bolsonaristas foi que Zema, assim como outros governadores de direita, não quiseram comparecer à Av. Paulista para não entrar em rota de colisão com Moraes, especialmente em meio às eleições municipais. Em fevereiro, Zema esteve presente na manifestação que teve como foco a defesa do ex-presidente, após ele ser alvo de ações da Polícia Federal.

A justificativa dada pela assessoria de imprensa é que o mineiro não foi porque tinha compromissos em seu estado, entre eles, o desfile de 7 de setembro em Belo Horizonte. “A viagem no mesmo dia iria gerar uma logística muito complexa de deslocamento para viabilizar a participação em São Paulo. Lembrando que, dos governadores do Brasil, apenas o de São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, participou justamente porque os demais governadores de direita, assim como Zema, estavam envolvidos com outros compromissos”, justificou a assessoria.

O governador mineiro já fez críticas públicas a decisões de Moraes, sendo a mais recente delas sobre a suspensão da rede X. Zema afirmou que estava “angustiado” com o bloqueio da plataforma e disse que “uma democracia não pode querer calar a boca de ninguém”. O chefe do Executivo mineiro, porém, não se manifestou sobre o impeachment de Moraes.

A assessoria de imprensa diz que Zema “ainda não tem posição formada sobre o impeachment” do magistrado.

Como informou a colunista Malu Gaspar, apoiadores de Bolsonaro planejam uma manifestação em Belo Horizonte que defenda a saída de Moraes do STF. O foco do ato, previsto para este mês, seria pressionar o presidente do Senado, Rodrigo Pacheco, a abrir o processo de impeachment contra o ministro. Caso a manifestação seja marcada, Zema terá que deixar clara sua posição sobre o tema.
