Rogério Leão acompanha posse do do Coordenador Estadual do DNOCS, em Recife

O deputado estadual Rogério Leão participou na manhã dessa quarta-feira (15), da Solenidade de Posse do novo Coordenador Estadual do Departamento Nacional de Obras Contra as Secas em Pernambuco, o evento aconteceu na sede da entidade no bairro da Tamarineira, em Recife. A Autarquia Federal desenvolve ações no semiárido do Nordeste e Norte de Minas Gerais.
Rogério Leão salientou a importância da autarquia para Pernambuco e principalmente para o Sertão. “Mais uma porta aberta. Esta entidade tem um importante papel para o desenvolvimento hídrico regional, em especial para o Sertão. Temos um olhar preocupado para a escassez dos recursos naturais, principalmente da água no interior do Estado e, nosso trabalho tem este tema como prioridade”, disse o parlamentar.
Para o novo coordenador, o engenheiro Marcos Alberto de Araújo Leão Filho, que foi uma indicação do deputado federal Sebastião Oliveira, os desafios de combate aos efeitos da seca são intensos. “A seca traz efeitos devastadores para a população e para as regiões atingidas. Ações como a perfuração de poços, a construção de barragens, as instalações de rede hidrométrica, são atividades pioneiras e naturais do DNOCS e que trataremos com especial atenção”, pontuou.
O diretor geral do DNOCS, Rosilônio Magalhães, assinou o Termo de Posse diante do diretor de infraestrutura hídrica, Roberto Otto, de funcionários da autarquia, amigos e familiares do novo coordenador.
