Prefeita Madalena entrega troféus aos sanfoneiros homenageados pelo São João 2019

Em solenidade ocorrida na manhã desta quinta-feira, 27 de junho, a prefeita de Arcoverde, Madalena Britto, efetuou a entrega dos troféus aos sanfoneiros homenageados na versão 2019 do ciclo junino. A cerimônia, realizada no gabinete da gestora municipal, contou com participações do vice-prefeito Wellington Araújo; dos secretários municipais Albérico Pacheco (Turismo e Eventos) e Teresa Padilha (Cultura e Comunicação); de Pedro Gilberto, representando a gerente do Sesc Arcoverde, Águida Cardeal; e da vereadora Cleriane Medeiros.

A entrega individual dos troféus contemplou os músicos: Pé de Greia; Giovani do Acordeon; Paulinho do Forró; Zezito do Forró; Cícero do Acordeon; Zé do Peba; Zé Coco; Fernando Mamede; Sérgio Coringa e Zezinho da Sanfona. E na abertura do São João, realizada no último dia 21 de junho, o sanfoneiro Valdecir subiu ao palco do Polo Multicultural, para receber em nome dos mestres a homenagem concedida pelo Comitê Gestor de Eventos do município.

Dando as boas vindas aos presentes, Madalena Britto destacou que a escolha do tema aos mestres sanfoneiros se deu principalmente “à força da sanfona no nosso São João. E a gente não poderia de deixar de prestar essa homenagem, já que na parte cultural também já lembramos em edições anteriores do ciclo, grupos de reisado, coco, pífano e artistas forrozeiros de Arcoverde”, afirmou a prefeita.

Durante a entrega, cada músico agradeceu ao município, em um breve momento para expressarem vivências no cenário artístico regional, evidenciando a tradição do instrumento musical enquanto uma das principais vertentes culturais na cidade.

Em seu discurso, Wellington Araújo parabenizou os mestres sanfoneiros e frisou que atualmente o São João de Arcoverde é referência no país inteiro, refletindo a responsabilidade da gestão municipal. “Para o ano, vem mais turistas e visitantes até nossa cidade e isso significa mais desenvolvimento. Mais de 70% das atrações deste ciclo são da terra, sendo uma valorização que a gestão da prefeita Madalena Britto está tendo para com os artistas de Arcoverde”, ressaltou o vice-prefeito.
