Nesta quinta-feira (5), às 7h, a Prefeitura de Goiana realiza a entrega de um novo espaço público totalmente requalificado. Localizado no loteamento do Sítio, em Ponta de Pedras, onde está situado o ponto mais oriental de Pernambuco, o local foi cuidadosamente projetado para oferecer uma área de convivência e lazer, promovendo interação social e valorização cultural.
O espaço, que antes estava em desuso, foi completamente revitalizado pela gestão municipal, com destaque para a estátua da Rainha do Mar, Iemanjá, confeccionada em cobre, com 3 metros de altura, obra do escultor Ranilson Viana. “A entrega dessa praça é um passo importante para valorizar o patrimônio cultural e religioso que faz parte da identidade do município”, afirma o prefeito Eduardo Honório.
Essa ação faz parte de um conjunto de iniciativas da Prefeitura de Goiana voltado à ampliação e à requalificação de áreas públicas, fortalecendo o lazer, a convivência comunitária e o respeito às tradições culturais e religiosas da cidade.
A população de Ponta de Pedras está convidada a participar da inauguração e a conhecer este novo espaço de encontro e celebração comunitária.
